CENTRAL ONTARIO CHEESEMAKER ASSOCIATION

COCA Home Page

The Central Ontario Cheesemaker Association was incorporated as a non-profit organization on August 29, 1928. The Association was founded to provide an opportunity for Cheese makers to share knowledge and techniques, in a foundling Canadian industry.

The Association established the British Empire Cheese Show, which gave Cheese makers the opportunity to compete with others around the British Empire and win bragging rights.

The Association is managed entirely by volunteers. Elections for Directors and Officers are held annually, and persons interested in joining the Board or volunteering to assist are always welcome. We do not have a “formal” office, but meet frequently in Belleville, Ontario, Canada.

Wendy Gibbons is the secretary of the Association, and can provide further information as required.
